These programs are designed to build and increase knowledge in many areas and subjects, facilitate creativity, imagination, critical thinking, nurture talents and potentials in every child, grow intelligent, well-rounded individuals.

 FOR YOUNG LEARNERS AGES 3-7

• Literature Circles (children are grouped by age)

This is a wonderful literature-based program, the goal of which is to actively engage children in the process of speaking, listening, reading, writing, creative thinking and meaningful discussion. Here young learners are exposed to the world of beautiful language, words, pictures and print, using a variety of literary genres, texts, formats, BIG books, poetry, role-play, songs, recital, vocabulary, and memory games.

PROGRAMS FOR SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN

• Music, Literature and Artistic Expression

This is a unique, highly hands-on program that nurtures  talents, builds creative thinking skills, imagination, individuality and expression through oral presentations, movement, drama, and visual arts. Children are exposed to classical music, learn about famous composers and artists, learn how to create, present and share their ideas and feelings in a variety of creative ways.

• Foreign Languages (Spanish and Russian, more upon request)

These programs are designed to expose children of all ages to languages other than English. Children learn how to understand, speak, read and write in another language through meaningful discussions, vocabulary building, listening and thinking, literature, songs and poetry. Instruction is provided to small groups and one-on-one, in a variety of ways, including modeling, visuals, partner work and role-play.

This program allows students to sharpen their current grade math skills and move onto mathematical concepts that go beyond what is being taught in school. This is a true enrichment program, where students DO NOT do math drill practice sheets, such as multiplication tables, etc. Instead, it involves a lot of logical thinking and reasoning. The knowledge acquired in this program helps students skillfully perform multi-step computations, solve word problems and do well on math tests.

This program teaches children about the various skills and styles of poetry writing. In this program students learn how to envision, use creativity and language to express themselves, enrich their vocabulary and have on-going poetry recitals and presentations.This not only teaches them how to become poets and excellent writers, but also builds social skills and self-esteem.
